My new default brunch! Green smoothies are great for sneaking in a lot of nutrition. Since it can be difficult to find recipes with low-histamine foods, I’m sharing my new favorite green smoothie! I created this simple recipe with easy-to-throw-in low histamine ingredients. This smoothie is creamy and sweet. Give it a try!
1 cup rainbow chard (or other green of your choice)
4-5 baby carrots
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup milk of choice (I use rice milk and avoid vanilla flavoring)
Blend all ingredients until smooth! A food processor or quality bender will spin it together effortlessly. Getting a Vitamix last year was probably the best thing to happen to my diet.
